A worldwide e-Infrastructure for NMR and structural biology

Bio-NMR workshop: Acquisition and processing of sparsely sampled NMR data

Event Date:
Wed, 2012-04-25 (All day) - Sat, 2012-04-28 (All day)

The workshop “Acquisition and processing of sparsely sampled NMR data“ is organized and sponsored by the Bio-NMR consortium, and provides an introduction to applications of sparse sampling and Fourier Transformation processing in biomolecular NMR.

Participants will be made familiar with the basic concepts of sparse sampling and FT processing and the example of protein NMR resonance assignment using a real sample.

The workshop focuses on the practice and only the basic theory will be discussed, that is needed to successfully perform typical tasks in biomolecular NMR. It combines theoretical introduction and demonstrations, followed by direct practical application in the form of exercises.

Each of the topics is presented by skilled lecturers. For optimal knowledge transfer combinations are used of lectures, demonstrations and well worked out exercises that are designed to prepare the participants to apply their knowledge in practice to their own projects. In addition, ample time is available for participants to discuss problems in person.

Lecturers

  • Wiktor Koźmiński
  • Vladislav Orekhov
  • Krzysztof Kazimierczuk
  • Jan Stanek
