Agenda of the meeting

This meeting is meant to bring together the developers in WeNMR and discuss current issues in the project. A number of topics have been identified that will be addressed during the meeting. The agenda is rather open and should allow for actual work to be performed.

Morning: Arrival of participant – those already in Utrecht are welcome to come to the lab and use our facilities or use the time for informal discussions

13:30 - 13:45       Welcome and general introduction  - additions to the agenda - Prof. A.M.J.J. Bonvin, coordinator WeNMR

13:45 - 14:15       EGI user support and interaction with the VRCs – Nuno Ferreiro EGI user support

14:15 - 18:00       Current issues – continued on Wednesday

 

Topics to be discussed – non-exclusive list:

  • Web services and end-user platform (Milestone M-JRA-1 Web services roadmap defined – due on Month 6) – Jon Ionides
  • The VRC web platform – current status and future actions – Chris Spronk - Possibly direct contribution to the getting started missing pages
  • Grid submission and monitoring tools – what is currently implemented at the various sites. Automation behind the web portals – Presentation of the tools by the various partners running web portals meant for the new partners in the project. Possible solutions for the SAXS portals
  • Centralized user administration/registration system – what are the options?
  • Harmonization / “branding” of web portals  - incorporation into the wenmr web site
  • New web server developments  - planning / prioritization / identify new software
  • Request from external software developers  - one pending
  • Upcoming workshops
